This is such a perfect little vintage evening jacket designed by Margaretha Ley for Escada Couture. This cute cropped jacket is black velvet with satin panels in front that form black and white thick horizontal stripes. There are no closures, so it is open in the front, and the hemline curves in front for a very flattering fit.
There are shoulder pads for a more structured look and this would pair well with a little black dress, or your favorite pair of jeans! Made in Germany and in excellent condition.
Marked as a size 38, this jacket fits like a US size 8/10. Since it is open in front, it can fit up to a size 12, just pay attention to the shoulder and sleeve measurements to determine fit.
